Good evening and welcome to the weekly net for the Snohomish County Auxiliary Communication Service and Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ACS/ARES) My name is (name/call sign), your net control station for this evenings net. The purpose of this net is to provide on-the-air training, coordination of ACS/ARES activities, and for the exchange of information of interest to the amateur radio community. (Break to allow the repeater to reset) This is a directed net. All stations must use their call sign for recognition by net control. Please do not relay unless asked to do so. If you need to break into the net, give your call sign only and wait to be acknowledged by the net control station. Stations with immediate or priority traffic will be handled prior to continuing the net. Are there any stations with immediate or priority traffic at this time? (Wait for a response) Are there any stations wishing to list any traffic, bulletins or announcements for the net, please call net control and list your traffic.
