Snohomish County RACES (a part of the Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management) has changed its name to Snohomish County ACS (Auxiliary Communications Service). This change is largely administrative but will allow the organization to be more versatile and protect the group from any unfavorable future FCC redefinition of the RACES service. Snohomish County ACS will keep the WA7DEM call sign.
ACS MeetingsThe monthly meetings are scheduled for the third Thursday of the month at 1900 hrs at the DEM Offices.
